How to Get There:
Cherokee Farms is at 2035 Old Mineral Springs Road, Lafayette GA, 30728. The driveway is marked as Walnut Row (in blue).
Directions from points south (from Atlanta):
1. Take I-75 to exit 320, Resaca/LaFayette (this is about 1.5 hours north of Atlanta).
2. If you were heading north on 75, turn left; if heading south, turn right, onto GA Hwy 136. Go
6.4 miles.
3. You will come to a t-intersection where 136 seems to go both right and left. Turn right. You
are still on GA 136.
4. After 7.8 miles, you will come to a crossroads; this is the little town of Villanow. Stop and
take pictures. Then keep going straight, still on GA 136, for another 6.6 miles. Be careful here;
the roads are very very winding. If you are pulling a camper or driving an RV, you may actually
want to take an alternate route to avoid the hills and curves.
5. You will come to another t-intersection; turn left. You are still on GA 136, and also on GA
151. Go 1.5 miles.
6. Turn right (still following GA 136; 151 will continue on straight), and go 4 miles.
7. Turn right onto Lyle Jones Parkway, a four-lane road, and still GA 136. There is a gas station
at the left inside corner. Go 2 miles.
8. Turn right, still on GA 136, and go 1/2 mile. Look for the Shell gas station on the left (there is
also a Walmart just up the road). Turn left here, again onto GA 136. Go one mile.
9. Turn left onto Old Mineral Springs Road, go 1.3 miles, and Cherokee Farms will be on your
right. It will be just past the log cabins with the red roofs.
Directions from points north (from Chattanooga):
1. Take I-75 to exit 348, which is the Ringgold, GA exit. Head south off the exit on GA 151
(right turn if going south on I-75).
2. Follow GA 151 south. GA 136 will join this road from the left. Continue straight on the
combined GA151/GA136 road. Go another 1.5 miles after 136 joins 151.
3. Turn right on GA 136 to head west toward LaFayette (GA 151 will continue straight). Note
there is only a small sign here, so just follow the directions to LaFayette. Go 4 miles.
4. Turn right onto Lyle Jones Parkway, a four-lane road, and still GA 136. There is a gas station

5. Turn right, still on GA 136, and go 1/2 mile. Look for the Shell gas station on the left (there is
