All ages and volunteers welcome. 1 hour, at the Kitchen.

(Fri, 1:00 pm) Women's Self Defense Class - by Isa
This class is for women only! We will discuss situational use of force. we will practice strikes, throws and grappels. there will be demonstrations and group involvement. please wear something comfortable and bring a pillow. 1 hour, at the Pavilion.

(Fri, 2:00 pm) Basic Dream Magic - by Gryn
This class will explore the ins and outs of dreaming. We will take a journey into exploring the magical side to dreaming. I will discuss creating a journal of sorts for your dreaming life as it relates to your mundane and spiritual life. I have been trained in a some techniques offered by the Jungian institute and I consider myself a student in training. I have also been a lucid dreamer for over 20 years and have worked with others on dream interpretation for the past 2 years. This class will show you a different way to understand and explore your dreams and incorporate them into you path. This class will cover the introductory material for Advanced Dream Magic class. Please bring a camp chair/blanket, a notebook and writing utensils (if you want to take notes). Handouts will be provided. Limited to 25 participants. 1.5 hours, in the Pavilion.

(Fri, 3:00 pm) Hair: The Spiritual History, Nature, and Stylings - by Felicia
Hair is a powerful symbolic tool that has been used to signify spiritual path, spiritual growth and protest. In this workshop, the participant will learn about the history and practice of using hair as a ritual tool, and different braiding and dreadlock techniques available for ritualistic and practical use. This class will tackle some common misconceptions and practices in braiding and dreadlocking technique, and each participant will come away with a basic understanding of the history of dreadlocking, braiding, and hair wrapping. They will also gain the basic knowledge of braiding, dreadlocking, and hair wrapping by the conclusion of the workshop. 2 hours, at the Drum Circle.

(Fri, 3:30 pm) Advanced Dream Magic - by Gryn
This class will focus solely on advancing your craft through dream magic. I will discuss and offer some techniques to help explore the dream realm. I will teach some helpful interpretations and commands that will aid in your journey into creating a sacred sleep space. The introduction dream magic class is not totally a pre-requisite for the class; however, it will be helpful because we will jump right into the subject! Please bring a camp chair/blanket, a notebook and writing utensils (if you want to take notes). Handouts will be provided. Limited to 25 participants. 1.5 hours, in the Pavilion.

(Fri, 5 pm) Poppet and Doll Magick: How to Make your Own Spirit Doll - by Momma Hopie
Get a glimpse into the wide world of poppet and doll magick. Learn a little about different types of dolls used in magick. Meet my Spirit Doll, Agatha, and learn how to make one of your very own. Learn how Spirit Dolls can be a fun and useful addition to your magickal tools, as well as a beloved best friend. 1 hour, at the Kitchen.

(Fri, 8:00 pm) Opening Ritual: Three-Fold Purification and Renewal Ritual - by Sande Fowler
Join us at the Main Circle in a purification and renewal ritual to purge the negativity, doubt, and fear that so easily creep into our lives. As the days lengthen, cold and darkness is overcome by the glorious cycle of rebirth and growth. So, too, will we overcome those harmful emotions that cloud our judgment and threaten to remove us from our paths. We will turn from the pains of our past to focus on present and future growth. After purifying ourselves, we will act as one to raise a cone of power to protect ourselves and Dragon Hills as well as to bless our daily lives. This ritual is a celebration of our unity and our willingness to move away from what harms us. We do not invoke any gods or goddesses, but rather use energy from the Earth to affect change in ourselves and our lives. All are welcome. **Please bring an item that you can leave behind as an offering of respect to Dragon Hills and to represent your willingness to re-enter the world after Moondance with a positive outlook. Stones, feathers, trinkets, or charms, whatever you think appropriate. No glass or sharp objects, please. 30 minutes-1 hour, at the Main Ritual Circle at the top of the hill.

(Sat, 11:00 am) Chant Class - by Gryn
Come and learn about the elements, ritual crafting, spell workings, and magic through chants and song! Please bring a camp chair, drum, rattle and a great spirit! May you be inspired to sing them around the drum circle! May our learning, chanting and our singing be an offering to Dragon Hills! Please bring a camp chair, drum, rattle, or noise maker. Handouts will be provided. 1.5 hours, at the Drum Circle.

(Sat, 11:30 am) The Weird Wandering Wizard's Wonderings About the Wee-Folk - by The Weird Wandering Wizard
Ever wonder about the Fae-Folk? I do all the time and have studied and researched them (I have even had many fantastic personal experiences). Come listen to what I gathered, observed, and theorize. We will cover topics of Fae lore, behavior, general classifications, and how to protect from or work with these Old Beings. Everyone is welcome. Please come and join us; I promise you will at least be entertained! 1.5 hours, at the Pavilion.

(Sat, 12:00 pm) Shibari - by Stephen & Linda
Shibari is Japanese-inspired rope art worn on the body. Participants should bring their own rope, preferably 6-10 mm hemp, jute, or cotton, in three lengths of 30 feet each. Rope will also be available for sale at Bio-Buzz. Participants must be 18 or older to attend. 1 hour, at the Bio-Buzz vending tent across from the Stage.

(Sat, 1:00 pm) Belly Dance - by Cybelle of Nocturnelle
Join Cybelle, a belly dancer with Nocturnelle troupe out of Savannah, GA (formerly from Washington, DC area)...for a fun, enlightening exposure to the ancient and fabulous world of belly dance! 1.5 hrs, in the Great Hall.

(Sat, 2:00 pm) Nuankh: Channeling - by Pierre "Magz" Tredeaux - The Temple of ISIS
Hear about my adventures with Urus and finding the Big T.O.E. Learn how to meditate, and ways to contact a spirit guide. Then a talk with Urus my spirit guide. 1.5 hours, in the Pavilion.

(Sat, 2:00 pm) Why We Do What We Do - by Billy Holder
A short summary of A.J Drew's "A Wiccan Bible" Where did we come from? How did we get here? Why Do I do it like this? Origins of the Law of Three. Basic Who What why how and when is what I hope I can share with those who attend. With discussion afterwards. 1.5 hours, at the Kitchen.

(Sat, 3:00 pm) Sacred Mantras: Infinity In Sound - by Shadow ShyRaven
In the first part of this class I will be covering the basics of the Bija, or Seed, Mantras which incorperate the gods and goddess's of Hinduism. The second part of this class will focus on the beauty and power of the most auspicious of the Hindu mantras; The Gayatri Mantra. This mantra brings light to any situation and is an essential part of enlightenment. Chanting of the Gayatri at Sunrise will follow the morning after class for those interested. Neither activity is required to attend the other. 1 hour, at the top of the hill.

(Sat 3:30 pm) Magic, Music, and Sacred Massage - by Richard Keenan, Ph.D.
This is a combination of Pagan Ritual and Massage with safe touch. It will be skyclad. Massage oil will be supplied as participants massage each other. While the workshop will be skyclad, sexual touching will not be allowed. Groups of rotating partners will massage each other. We build a safe touch sense of community in a consecrated circle. Participants should bring old blankets, mats, towels, or sleeping bags for ground cover. I will provide massage oil and music. 2 hours, at the Pavilion. Richard first experienced group skyclad massage at Elysium Fields workshops in California in the 1970s. Fiftteen years ago he combined the massage workshops with Pagan ritual as a spiritual experience as well as a sensual one. Since then the workshop has pleased festival-goers at dozens of festivals. In the mundane world, Richard is a college professor of Communication.

(Sat, 3:30 pm) Intentional Listening Session One - by Vanessa & Dana
We do not always truly listen when another speaks. Come to this class to learn the fine art of intentional listening. In the first session we will discuss the techniques and choose a topic to discuss in the second session. The second session is pure practicum. One must attend the first session to attend the second. Limited to 8 people each. 1.5 hours, in the Great Hall.

(Sat, 4:00 pm) Mehndi 101: Design and Technique Basics - by Pyre
This workshop introduces participants to basic Mehndi design and application techniques. Participants will create personal designs and learn to apply them to their hands. The workshop will also examine uses for Mehndi in spellwork, and the use of symbols in design. All supplies are provided; a $10 fee is charged to cover the cost of supplies. Use of Henna is restricted to ages 18 and up. Class is limited to 15 people. 1.5 hrs, at the Kitchen.

(Sat, 6:30 pm) Pot-Luck Dinner
If your last name starts with: A-F, bring desserts; G-M, bring meat dishes; N-S, bring appetizers, salads, cheeses, or breads; or T-Z, bring veggie dishes. Please label your dish with all ingredients on an index card so allergies, etc. can be avoided! In addition to your food contribution, bring feast gear plate, bowl, cup, utensils, and SERVING SPOONS for your dish. Disposable feast gear is fine, but please be earth-friendly. You'll also need beverages. Keep your food contribution at your camp until time for the potluck, and plan on cooking your own food we don't provide cooking or storage services. PLEASE PUT AWAY YOUR PERISHABLE FOOD IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE POTLUCK!! All other meals are provide-your-own; you'll need to bring food and cookware, and grill or campstove (or buy meals from the food vendors). The kitchen is off-limits to participants. Water is available for dishwashing (bring your own soap). Please bring a cooler for your food there are no storage facilities in the Kitchen for food or drinks.

Hathor is the Egyptian goddess of the magic mirror. May 23, 2009 is the day of the yellow overtone sun whose mantra is "I am that I am." It is a day to be empowered in order to enlighten. Come gaze into the mirror and behold your true self. 1 hour, in the main ritual circle at the top of the hill.

(Sat, 10:00 pm) Words Open Mic - by Heidi
Share your prose or poetry in an open mic setting at Moondance. All topics ranging from the spiritual to the hilarious, the sublime to the dark are welcome. 1 hour, in the Great Hall.

SUNDAY

(Sun, 11:30 am) Personal Elemental Cleansing for a Low-Stress Life - by Sande Fowler
Stress from our daily lives disrupts our bodies, minds, and spirits. Learn some individual cleansing techniques and rituals that can help remove harmful energy and return you to a calmer, more natural state. Some cleansing techniques can become a part of your routine and help you on a daily basis. Techniques will be demonstrated and participation is encouraged. If you would like to participate, you may wish to wear a swimsuit or be skyclad. This is instructive only and participants will perform the cleansing themselves. Limited to 20 participants. 1.5 hours, at the top of the hill across from the upper showers.

(Sun, 12:00 pm) Church of the Spiral Tree BoD & General Membership Meeting & Raffle Drawing
CST members and staff, please attend and have lunch with us! CST Member lunch is at noon, followed by general membership meeting (non-members are welcome to attend) at 1:00. 2 hours, at the CST tent near Bio-Buzz, across from the Stage.

In this class we will work with the most fundamental aspects of the Japanese sword. Grip, posture, footwork, movement, drawing and of course cutting will all be discussed and demonstrated. Please bring bokken, shinai, or even sticks that resemble swords. NO LIVE BLADES! 1 hour, at the Pavilion.

(Sun, 2:30 pm) Energy 101 - by Marty
Energy 101 is a class designed to help you find out what is going on with your OWN energy. There will be a short guided meditation and an open discussion. Bring something comfortable to sit or lay on. 1.5 hours, in the Great Hall.

(Sun, 3:00 pm) Advanced Japanese Swordsmanship - by Isa
This class will consist of a more in-depth look at the movement of the Japanese sword. Here we will take the fundamentals to a higher level and combine the techniques that were taught in the beginning class. We will also practice the establishment of mai (distance) and the use of blocking and then cutting as a means of understanding fluidity. Bring bokken, shinai, or even sticks that resemble swords. NO LIVE BLADES! (Note... you must have attended the beginning class to participate in the advanced class). 1 hour, at the Pavilion.

(Sun, 4:00 pm) Energy 201 - by Marty
This class is designed to teach you how to do a basic stone lay on yourself and others as well as use assorted tools such as pendulums, voguls, stones, etc. Bring something comfortable to sit or lay on, as well as any energy working tools/stones you wish to "play" with. I will have a few to work with as well as an assortment of stones. 1.5 hours, in the Great Hall.

Main Ritual will take place in the main ritual circle at the top of the hill; if it rains, ritual will likely be moved to the Great Hall.
