As each person approaches the circle, ask them

"Will you come to celebrate this ritual of joy with us?"

and smudge them as they enter. Move around clockwise, forming a circle, with participants breaking off and going to their places.

Have everyone in circle chant while four corners lead all around in circle.

Earth my body
Water my blood
Air my breath
and Fire my spirit

or

The wheel of the year will turn and turn
And by this may we grow and learn

Invoke the elements:

East:

East, within your realms dance the purifying forces of Fire, the life force that warms the womb of the Mother. We ask that you join this circle of the Goddess for Her childrena nd the good of all. So Mote It Be!

South:

South, home of the vast forces of the earth, great womb of the Mother from which grows all life great and small. We ask that you join this circle of the Goddess for Her children and the good of all. So Mote It Be!

West:

West, through your gates rush the destructive yet healing floods of water, that which feeds the Mother's womb and connects her children. We ask that you join this circle of the Goddess for Her children and the good of all. So Mote It Be!

North:

North, breath of life, we ask for the winds that carry the ancient voices of our ancestors. We ask that you join this circle of the Goddess for Her children and the good of all. So Mote It Be!

Priestess:

"The circle is cast,
We are between the worlds,
Beyond the bounds of time,
Where night and day,
Birth and death,
Joy and sorrow,
Meet as one."

Priest:

"Dear Mother, we see you in the sun, the moon, and the earth. We know you in our hearts. Bless and guide us as we celebrate this night."

Priestess:

We stand between Beltane and the Summer Solstice, in the waxing part of the year. We dance with the sun on its journey as the bees dance hurridly in their hives. The time of leisure has passed, for the light of day grows longer. The bees gather the nectar and form that which will become the fruit of their labor; their reward - honey. So too must you work for that which you require, that which will be the well-earned fruit of your labor. Come now and share with us the honey that is to come.

Quarters share honey

Before the nectar was gathered and the honey made, the bees gave of their protective coating in order to create the comb within which lies the hope for the future - the larvae. Take this beeswax and impress within it that which you hope to achieve, the fruit that you hope to harvest. Cast your hopes into these flames and concentrate on your fruitful future while chanting...

"From wax into honey we now come
May our dreams become as one"

Tell all that we will lead them in a chain-procession dance, and to throw their beeswax into the cauldron while chanting.

Centers start a chant:

"From wax into honey we now come
May our dreams become as one"

Lead people counter-clockwise, passing the fire. Everyone takes their beeswax and tosses it into the fire, chanting:

"From wax into honey we now come
our dreams become as one"

After each passes by the fire, they go back into the circle.

PAUSE

Priest:

"The fire cauldron represents the sun at its peak of power. As the sun completes its journey and ripens the fruit on the vine so will your hopes mature and bear fruit."

"Take this vessel of wine and taste of that which represents the fruit of the labor of humans which we can not yet see but anticipate - think back and remember at that time the future that you evoked tonight."

Priestess:

Dear Mother, we offer our prayers and our energy for the healing of the planet."

Response: Let there be joy and healing.

"We ask that you guide us and protect us as a community of people, seeking thy wisdom."

Response: Let there be joy and healing.

"We ask for the healing of mankind and all our kindred on earth."
Response: Let there be joy and healing.

We ask that you guide us in thy ways so that we may live in balance with ourselves and all that is created.

Response: Let there be joy and healing.

"SO MOTE IT BE!!"

Do Freddie.

Priestess:

"As a family we have gathered to share
the elements, earth, water, fire and air.
From this circle of mystery we now depart
to live our lives in our Mother's heart.
In service to Life we are as one.
We now depart - the circle is done."

Party.
