There are FIVE (5) jobs that come with discounted admission.. These jobs are listed below, and are BY APPLICATION ONLY, not "first-come-first-served." If you have been granted a job in the past and did not do your job well (or even worse, didn't show up at all), you are not eligible for any other volunteer jobs at any point in the future. On the other hand, if you've done one of these jobs in the past and done it well, you stand a good chance of being granted one again.

**IMPORTANT: All volunteers (unless I already know you personally and *know* that I can count on you absolutely) will be required to pay for their admission in full by October 5 (remember that admission rates are dependent upon when they are paid); once your job is completed at the end of the festival, your admission minus the discount will be refunded to you. This is to help cut down on the number of people who sign up for a job and then don't show up for the festival.

Applicants will be chosen on the basis of 1) dependability, 2) skills, and 2) financial need. (Note: If you are vending, and therefore profiting from the festival, you do not qualify for discounted admission.) On all jobs, you must make your commitment to the job well ahead of time, be on-site during the entire time required for your job, stay in touch with us so we know we can count on you, and above all, show up and do your job and be where we can find you during the festival.

Your application will be reviewed by our staff, and a decision will be made as soon as possible, but by October 5 at the VERY latest (probably way before then, though). If you are chosen for the position, a link will be sent to you so you can register (if you haven't already done so) and to make your $15 payment. If you are *not* chosen, you will be eligible to register and pay at whatever the price was when you initially applied for the volunteer job (i.e., if you applied in June, but were not chosen and were notified of this in September, you will still be able to pay $30 to attend.)
